Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a current MA RN license and required certifications for a night shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule : 3x12 hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Shift start time may rarely flex by up to four hours for critical department need
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Caring for a diverse emergency patient population
  • Uses Epic EMR, Epic experience preferred
  • Provide nursing care and interventions for emergency patients across all acuity levels
  • All travelers are required to complete education verification prior to start
  • Annual and pre-assignment modules are part of training and orientation
  • Strict testing requirements during orientation; non-passing scores result in assignment cancellation
  • Dress code and scrub requirements will be discussed during onboarding

  • Active and permanent MA RN license required
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Pass / fail EKG test required during orientation with only one attempt allowed
  • Completion of pre-start and orientation modules required
  • Must reside at least 200 miles from the facility
  • 2 professional references required, with one from a Nurse Manager or higher
