Must-Have : 2+ years of ICU experience, BLS, ACLS, State RN License

Description :

Registered Nurses in the Intensive Care Unit are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery.

They assess, utilizing age-specific data, the patient's physical and psychosocial status in a comprehensive manner.

They demonstrate accurate assessment skills appropriate to the age of the patient.

They perform ongoing assessments and complete required documentation within organizational standards.

They perform and document observations, physical examinations, laboratory / test results, and patient responses to procedural interventions.

They participate in the identification and clarification of patient needs through multidisciplinary care planning to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

They assist other staff in the delivery of patient care as appropriate.

They incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes.
