Vilbig and Associates (VA) is seeking a qualified, growth-oriented civil engineer for land development and civil design in our Denison, Texas office. This is a full-time, in-person position at our Denison office, with the flexibility to work from home part-time after demonstrating capabilities.

Position Responsibilities :

• Work effectively with and without direct supervision on land development projects
• Collaborate with virtual team members
• Perform assignments requiring knowledge of engineering principles and the latest design codes
• Develop site drainage plans and hydrology studies using current software
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Review construction submittals for conformance to contract and design documents
• Follow QA / QC procedures
• Design earthwork analysis, utility infrastructure, stormwater management, and hydrological analysis
• Design site facility layouts, grading, and drainage
• Research code issues and communicate with city, state, and county officials
• Research design options and document findings for project teams
• Assist with other duties as assigned
• Review design work by team members
• Attend design review meetings and interact with clients as experience progresses
