Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial reporting. This individual will oversee daily accounting operations, manage month-end and year-end close processes, and provide financial insights to support business decision-making. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining compliance, improving processes, and mentoring staff within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
Monitor and analyze accounting data, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with external auditors and coordinate audit activities.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.
Support leadership with financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a track record of developing and mentoring staff.
