ARP has an exciting opportunity for licensed mental health professionals to join a growing team as contracted Lead Session Monitors with one of our top pharma clients.
Lead Session Monitors are therapists who support the skillful and ethical delivery of psychological support for people with major depressive disorder participating in psychedelic clinical trials.
Lead session monitors are expected to have significant clinical experience and familiarity with psychedelic therapy, evidence-based practices, and empirically supported treatments. Session monitors should also have expertise in the particular indication of the study to which they are assigned.
Lead session monitors must complete a paid in person Training Program and demonstrate competency before beginning clinical work. They will be evaluated for ongoing eligibility by expert educational consultants and AI-supported therapy adherence reviews to ensure their ability to provide skillful and ethical therapy.
Contract Details
This is a part time opportunity – having some flexibility is key in scheduling
Applicants are asked to commit to 1 visit per week, with an estimated minimum of 11 visits per participant.There will be potential for additional clinical work opportunities. Competitive compensation is provided for the duration of future potential clinical program opportunities. This is a 1099 contracted position and applicants must be set up to participate as an independent contractors with their own liability insurance.
Start date : Late October to early November
In person training : there will be a mandatory in person paid training in Atlanta, GA on October 20th through the 23rd. Travel, hotel, and other expenses will be covered. Any one who cannot attend the in person training will not be considered
Site Location : Las Vegas, NV – Session Monitors must live within a 2 hour driving radius
Qualifications
Applicant must have
graduate-level professional training
and clinical experience in mental health and
be licensed to practice independently in the state of Florida and Nevada.
Examples include : clinical or counseling psychologist (PhD or PsyD), psychiatrist or other physician (MD or DO), Master of Social Work (MSW), masters Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Psychoanalyst (LP), or licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric NP).
Applicants must have had prior training in a well-established psychedelic facilitation training program (examples may include MAPS, CIIS, Compass, academic, non-profit, other industry sponsored programs, or other programs found to be approvable by the client.
Or
Be willing to complete a 6-hr foundational psychedelic facilitation training from a well-established program prior to attending the in person training program. Please note that the time spent learning during any foundational course is not reimbursable.
