This role is based in Omaha, NE and involves technical design of building-related low voltage systems.

Base pay

Base pay range : $76,700.00 / yr $100,650.00 / yr

What you'll do

Work on the design process from preliminary assessments through concept creation, design, problem resolution, drawing and specification production, and coordination with customers and vendors. Act as the technical expert on a specialized design and contribute to multiple concurrent projects. Assist with site visits, review technical documents, and integrate Owner installation requirements with site-specific applications. Learn from and be mentored by more senior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical design of systems for building projects, including security, fire alarm, voice, data, audio / visual, and other low voltage systems.
  • Prepare engineering drawings and specifications and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and review technical documents; coordinate with customers and vendors as needed.
  • Integrate Owner installation requirements with site-specific applications.
  • Collaborate within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Technical or Associate's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 4+ years of experience actively designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings.
  • Familiarity with ANSI / TIA and BICSI standards.
  • Experience with Revit software.
  • Self-motivated to coordinate with other disciplines and clients as necessary.
  • Preferred

  • Credentials as an RCDD or working toward this title.
  • Electrical Engineering degree or related discipline.
