Job Overview :
We are hiring a Site Manager to oversee installing, relocating, disconnecting digital & analog public safety & commercial two-way communications equipment. Overnight Travel EVERY WEEK REQUIRED.
Position Overview :
The Site Lead is a senior field leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily execution of in-building wireless system installations, including Public Safety DAS (ERCES), LTE, and Wi-Fi infrastructure. This position ensures that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and code compliance. The Site Lead serves as a technical expert, mentor, and on-site representative, guiding internal teams and subcontractors through all phases of installation and testing.
This role is ideal for experienced professionals who take pride in delivering mission-critical communications systems to schools, hospitals, and public infrastructure projects.

We are in the In-Building Wireless Division, specializing in the design and deployment of NFPA-compliant wireless coverage systems. Our solutions include Public Safety DAS (ERCES), LTE overlays, Wi-Fi, surveillance, and compliance documentation. We serve clients across Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, Mississippi, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead daily on-site installation activities for DAS, ERCES, LTE, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Supervise and collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to complete cable pulls, terminations, grounding, antenna mounting, and rack construction.
- Validate installations against engineered drawings, risers, and applicable codes.
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site.
- Support testing and commissioning using tools such as PCTEL SeeHawk, iBwave Prism, Anritsu, and Fluke.
- Coordinate site readiness and system turn-up with Project Managers and Commissioning Engineers.
- Train and mentor junior installers and subcontractors on best practices and code adherence.
- Maintain accurate daily field reports, redlines, worksite photos, and closeout documentation.
- Represent us professionally in interactions with clients, AHJs, and contractors.
- Report material shortages, scheduling issues, or safety concerns to management promptly.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Certifications :
Minimum 3 years of experience in DAS, public safety BDA, LTE, or low-voltage system installation.FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL). MUST GET W / IN 180 days of starting.Proficiency with PCTEL SeeHawk and / or iBwave Prism testing tools.OSHA 10 certification required : OSHA 30 preferred.Active First Aid / CPR certification preferred.NICET Level I certification required; Level II preferred (DAS, Low Voltage, or Fire Alarm Systems).iBwave Level 1 certification required : Level 2 preferred.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, iBwave files, and permit documentation.Experience working in secure environments such as schools, hospitals, and government facilitiesPreferred Skills :
Manufacturer training with ADRF, Comba, JMA, or similar.Familiarity with post-installation testing, alarm verification, and signal optimization.Understanding of fire alarm interface wiring and Class A / B code compliance.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Key Attributes for Success :
