About The Position

Must-Have :

Previous charge experience required.

Experience with patient ratios.

Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) preferred.

Description :

Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units.

An ASAP start is required.

Shifts are scheduled for 9 days per pay period, with 4 days one week and 5 days the next week.

Floating to other units may be required.

Weekend coverage is expected, with 6 weekend shifts per contract.

RNs will be requested to sign an attestation to confirm their awareness of unit requirements.

Experience with rehabilitation, use of IVs, PICCs, and wound care is preferred.

The patient ratio on this unit is 1 RN per hall, with a med tech per hall.

The CNA to patient ratio is 1 : 8-10 on days and 1 : 20 on nights.

The daily census for the unit is approximately 60 patients.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy.

Additional procedures may involve admission, discharge, and transfers to acute care facilities.

Candidates are expected to complete all compliance requirements in a timely manner.

Successful candidates will demonstrate fundamental nursing skills and effective patient care practices.

Strong communication abilities and attention to detail are essential for this role.
