The Law Library Assistant will be responsible for :
- Staffing the law library circulation desk
- Independently opening and closing the law library, including handling cash
- Checking in / out library materials
- Explaining and enforcing library policies, including processing fines and late fees
- Answering and directing calls, taking messages, and providing general library information
- Maintaining statistics of library transactions
- Retrieving items from library book drops and reshelving carts
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and copier jams, placing service requests as needed
- Providing directional assistance to library patrons and Eckstein Hall guests
- Filing looseleaf materials / updates as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications :
