Labor amp Employment Law Associate

Job Overview

A prominent Texas-based law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 0–3 years of experience to join its Labor & Employment Law Practice Group in Dallas. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney to receive direct mentorship, early responsibility, and hands-on experience representing employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including litigation, training, and compliance counseling.

Location

Duties

Represent employer clients in all aspects of labor and employment law

Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on employment-related policies, practices, and disputes

Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and policies

Assist in internal investigations and employment audits

Participate in litigation and administrative proceedings before courts and governmental agencies

Support client training on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Conduct legal research on labor law trends and case developments

Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy and resolution

Requirements

0–3 years of experience practicing law (prior exposure to labor & employment law through internships or coursework strongly preferred)

Demonstrated interest in employment law and workplace litigation

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Strong work ethic and commitment to professional development

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas or actively seeking admission

Skills
