Tier 2.5 Project Engineer (MSP) - Path to Leadership
We're looking for a skilled Tier 2.5 Project Engineer who's ready to step into a role that blends hands-on technical work with leadership potential. This position is designed for someone who can balance 50% project work and 50% support while owning a book of business and building long-term client relationships. Within 6–12 months, the right candidate can transition into a leadership or service manager role.
Must have MSP experience!!!
Base pay range
$75,000.00 / yr - $90,000.00 / yr
What You'll Do
- Manage and support a dedicated client with multiple offices across Long Island.
- Handle server deployments, virtualization, and day-to-day systems support.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and provide light networking support (FortiGate firewalls / routers, VPNs, UniFi-style switches / APs).
- Collaborate with remote Tier 2 / 3 engineers, ensuring clear communication and strong documentation.
- Split your time evenly between project work (deployments, upgrades, migrations) and support responsibilities.
