As a Pre-certification & Call Center Representative supporting Dermatology & Aesthetics in Bucktown , you are a customer service professional with extensive administrative office experience. You will be the main contact for insurance companies and staff for all pre-certification and prior authorization needs. You will also serve as a full-functioning Call Center Representative.
You are capable of managing a high volume of incoming calls, obtaining information from the clinical team and patients to complete insurance prior authorizations, scheduling appointments, verifying eligibility, registering new patients, assisting with forms and consents, verifying insurance and financial information, updating patient records, and scheduling follow-ups, all while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Preferred qualifications include at least two years of experience in a medical office or healthcare call center setting and familiarity with insurance plans and prior authorization processes.
You are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about healthcare. Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computer applications like word processing, medical office management, and spreadsheets are required.
