Your Impact
- Design and execute comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and protocols tailored for the company.
- Perform rigorous safety audits and inspections at job sites and equipment to pinpoint potential hazards and guarantee regulatory compliance.
- Educate and train employees and contractors on vital safety procedures and protocols to foster a culture of safety awareness.
- Thoroughly investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective measures.
- Accurately maintain safety records and generate detailed reports on safety performance metrics.
- Actively engage in safety committees and participate in various safety-related initiatives.
- Efficiently support emergency response and disaster recovery operations when necessary.
- Lead and manage the safety team, including Field Safety Technicians, providing guidance and direction to ensure the success and effectiveness of the safety program.
- Continuously monitor and analyze safety trends to proactively identify areas for improvement and implement preventive measures.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, staying up to date with the latest safety regulations and ensuring company-wide compliance.
- Organize and facilitate safety drills, simulations, and workshops to reinforce safety awareness and preparedness among employees.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Cultivate strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to promote safety best practices throughout the supply chain.
- Develop and manage safety recognition programs to reward and incentivize exceptional safety performance.
- Regularly review and update safety policies and procedures to align with industry advancements and emerging safety concerns.
- Champion a positive safety culture by fostering open communication channels for employees to report safety concerns and share ideas for improvement.

Requirements : Who You Are
Bi-Lingual in Spanish is required to be successful in this roleA minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, preferably in telecommunications, telecommunication construction, or related industry.OSHA 510 or OSHA 30Proven experience in conducting safety inspections and audits.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.Strong leadership qualities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with safety management software.Ability to analyze safety data and trends to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.Crisis management and emergency response experience, including conducting drills and simulations.Capacity to effectively train and educate employees on safety policies and procedures.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and best practices.Willingness to stay updated on industry advancements and emerging safety concerns.Flexibility to travel to job sites and attend safety meetings, as required.Your Education
High School Diploma, GED (Required)Certification in Occupational Safety and Health (CSP, GSP)OSHA 30OSHA 510Skills and Physical Requirements :
Must have a high mechanical aptitude; skilled with hands, organized, and analytical.Must be able to endure prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.Must possess sufficient physical strength to pull wires and cables through conduits when necessary for safety evaluations or demonstrations.Must be able to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.Must be able to frequently walk and navigate active construction sites—both indoors and outdoors—including climbing stairs, traversing uneven terrain, and accessing elevated or confined spaces, in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) to conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
