Employees that work Monday - Friday from 8am to12 : 30pm will be compensated $14.75 per hour.

Responsibilities include :

  • Provide a welcoming environment for all children and families.
  • Provide outstanding care while following area-specific procedures which may include changing and disposing of diapers, leading age-appropriate activities, and relaying any pertinent information to families about their children.
  • Engage in the planning, preparation, and execution of games, activities, and schedules for all age groups.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all children, following area-specific procedures which may include disinfecting toys, putting equipment back in age-specific areas, alerting the manager about broken equipment, and logging cleaning supplies.
  • Observe children’s behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures; apply appropriate behavior management techniques.
  • Attend all required training and meetings.
  • Comply with safety and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain good attendance and have reliable transportation.
  • Follow all J rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous childcare experience is essential.
  • CPR / First Aid certification preferred.
  • Able to assist in emergency situations as needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be available to work some weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to perform all duties of the job including bending, squatting, sitting on the floor, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
