About The Position

Experience with charting system, specifically Epic

Description :

This position is for a NICU Nurse in a designated unit.

The nurse will care for neonates and infants, specifically those in the NICU III category.

Candidates should have experience managing patients with a variety of diagnoses, including respiratory distress, sepsis, and neonatal abstinence syndrome.

The nurse will be expected to perform specialized tasks, including central line management and handling ventilators.

Candidates must be prepared to float to the Well Baby unit if needed.

Weekend shifts will be required, totaling 12 shifts over a 12-week contract.

The unit is equipped with nine beds, with potential for future expansion.

There is no surgical procedure responsibility beyond routine circumcisions and frenectomies.

Support services available include physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

The candidates will work collaboratively with a full-time lactation consultant team.
