Lab Network Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

• MINIMUM 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer with at least one year in a Lab
• Experience designing, developing, and testing Ethernet / IP technologies, services, and networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, SSH, VLAN, STP, and CFM)
• Hands-on experience with IP / network testing
• Experience in the development, specification of software programs and tools used for automated test execution and data collection

Insight Global is looking for several Network Engineers for one of our largest telecom customers in Middletown, NJ. This resource will be joining the Technology & Network organization to support high-level enterprise-wide initiatives. You will support the design, development, and testing of Ethernet / IP technologies and networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, SSH, VLAN, STP, and CFM. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IP test equipment such as Spirent and a strong background in developing and specifying software tools for automated test execution and data collection. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a passion for network performance, reliability, and innovation.
