Annuity Product State Filings Consultant
As the Annuity Product State Filings Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet compliance standards and are successfully filed across all relevant jurisdictions. You will serve as a key resource supporting product compliance and state filing outcomes for our annuity products.
What you'll be doing :
- Participates in Annuity product and filing requirement discussions with Internal Stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of approval information so that approved products and forms are correctly issued and contract language is as mandated for all states.
- Evaluate and answer questions in relation to the interpretation of contract provisions as requested by internal and external customers.
- Advises and negotiates with internal and external Stakeholders to resolve issues relevant to securing approval and / or use of forms and / or rates, or to revise products or procedures for compliance with new laws.
- Performs analysis and communicates recommended changes as a result of new and / or revised State and Federal laws and regulations affecting their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Reviews and / or implements policy print on related print systems for compliance.
- May draft and / or file or oversee the drafting and / or filing of all applicable forms and / or applications by identifying and complying with complex regulatory requirements within their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Research, compiles and reviews complex state laws and regulations using appropriate databases, the internet and other resources.
