About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our team, focused exclusively on sourcing loyal, dependable, and experienced caregivers for our elderly clients. This key role is instrumental in stabilizing and expanding our caregiver workforce throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties.
The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, with a strong background in home care recruitment and a solid understanding of direct care services. You’ll report to the Director of Administration and work both in the office and out in the field. This is a part-time, in-office position based in Shelton, CT.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy : Design and implement targeted strategies to attract high- quality caregivers through job boards, referrals, and community outreach.Candidate Sourcing : Build and maintain a strong pipeline of reliable and experienced caregiver candidates.Screening & Vetting : Conduct thorough interviews, background checks, and reference verifications.Orientation & Onboarding : Lead onboarding and orientation to align new hires with company culture, expectations, and compliance standards.Retention Initiatives : Analyze turnover data and collaborate with leadership to improve caregiver retention and job satisfaction.Sales-Driven Approach : Treat recruitment goals like sales quotas, focusing on results, speed, and candidate quality.Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with office and field staff to align recruitment with operational needs.Bilingual Communication : Communicate effectively with both Spanish- and English-speaking applicants and staff to foster an inclusive hiring process.Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience in home care or a related healthcare fieldBackground as a caregiver or in-home care provider is strongly preferredSkills & Competencies
Sales-minded, goal-driven personality with a proactive mindsetExceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and EnglishAbility to manage high-volume recruitment while maintaining standards of qualityStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsTechnical Proficiency
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job board platformsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteComfort using social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, , Snapchat, YouTube, and TikTok for recruitment marketingOther Requirements
