Our client, a well-established civil & environmental engineering firm , is seeking a PE-licensed Practice Leader to lead their Austin, TX water resources and hydrology / hydraulics practice . This senior role offers the opportunity to oversee complex projects, provide technical leadership, and drive strategic growth .
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee all aspects of water resources projects , providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders .
- Prepare proposals, client agreements, and monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables with PMs and senior staff.
- Oversee technical and professional development of engineers and support personnel.
- Participate in developing company design and production standards , efficiency initiatives, and innovation strategies.
- Engage in professional associations and civic organizations .
Qualifications :
B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license required .15+ years of professional engineering experience , including 10+ years as a licensed PE.Proven ability to solve complex challenges for public-sector clients and manage large project teams.Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to maintain client and community relationships .Actively involved in professional associations and civic organizations .Benefits :
