Analyst - MQ Administration (AP) - San Diego, CA

This Analyst - MQ Administration position will be responsible for processing AR / AP invoices for Freight Forwarding. Duties include, but are not limited to : data entry, record keeping, monitoring AR / AP, participating in month-end closing, and preparing audits and variance reports.
Responsibilities :
- Review the trackers from each specialist (Amounts, Vendor's code, date, etc.) to process into SAP
- Prepare AP / AR upload file for preparation to post the system (SAP)
- Ensure all charges are billed correctly including : AR / AP, Detention, Demurrage, Additional charges, etc on billing summary
- Post all manual AR / AO data entry into the operation systems (SAP)
- Manage and report any accessories charge due to operation issues
- Make sure to keep all records related to AR / AP entries
- Post credit memo's and reversed invoices and keeping all of the records
- Updating the Billing Summary and checking all the data is correct
- Maintain all monthly billing summary and keep all record correct on summary for billing to HT
- Prepare month-end report including Journal Entry preparation
- Analyze some P&L account reconciliation
- Prepare and generate all manual AR invoices that need to be sent to HT
- Manage / Update the vendor / customer code file
- Make sure to have all current accounts info for customers and vendors
- Creating reports (LTL, BX, Ocean, ST, and WH summary for month-end preparation)
- Audit the accounting file for dedicated program carriers
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation Range $52,000 - $56,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
