Shooter / Editor, Bleacher Report (Temporary)

Bleacher Report is seeking a Shooter / Editor to play a vital role in the production of its video content, covering everything from high-profile live streams to field productions. This person will be involved in the entire production process, from ideation and video execution to the final edit.B / R is looking for a hardworking team member with social-first instincts, as well as an understanding of the dynamics of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and X. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Premiere) and skills in operating various cameras, cinema cameras (FX6, FX9),DSLRs, and phones, are also required. This person will use their passion for sports and knowledge of digital storytelling to help B / R achieve its content goals. New York-based, with the ability to travel frequently and work nights / weekends during games.

Role Accountabilities...

Candidates should have experience with the foundations of shooting and editing, such as :

• The ability to tell stories from a social-first perspective
• The ability to shoot, and edit content that tells a compelling story, both short and long form
• Non-linear editing experience (Adobe Premiere non-linear editing experience is a must)
• Consistently meet deadlines
• Prioritizing workload
• The ability to maintain digital assets, archives, and edit systems
• Knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats
• Knowledge of cameras, videography, and creative lighting techniques
