Description :

A Registered Nurse involves the delivery of nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care.

The role ensures safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care.

A day in the life of a Registered Nurse includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Nurses will cover CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine / PET.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.

The nurse plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patients' needs.

Identifying patient needs and determining priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation is essential.

The nurse develops, implements, and coordinates an individualized plan of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.

Initiating assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs and the medical diagnosis is crucial.

Therapeutic nursing interventions are performed regularly.

The nurse manages care of patients and documents care based on standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.

Advocacy for evidence-based practice care standards and supporting the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery is vital.

Patient-centered care is provided in alignment with professional nursing practice models.

Comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation is collected.

The nurse performs age and disease-specific assessment / data collection independently in a systematic manner.

Recognizing clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status is necessary.

The nurse identifies variables in patient / family education needs based on age, disease, and culturally specific learning differences.

Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as needed.

Nurses will be utilized in Preoperative and PACU recovery areas.

Experience in these areas or within a procedural area is preferred.

Skills in Preop / PACU and telemetry are also beneficial.

Assistance with patient admissions is required.
