As a Security Officer - School Grounds Patrols in Greensboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a prominent educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor site conditions and report any unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted actions and provide assistance to those in need.
  • Document and submit incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Support the enforcement of location policies and regulations to promote a positive and orderly environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
