Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the leadership, direction, and daily operations of our signature restaurants and pool food and beverage venues. This role ensures an exceptional guest experience through hands-on floor presence, strong team leadership, and operational excellence. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager partners with culinary and service teams to deliver high-quality food, beverage, and hospitality standards while meeting financial, safety, and service goals.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.
Position Responsibilities / Duties :
- Maintain an active floor presence during service, engaging with guests and supporting the team.
- Inspire, coach, and mentor team members to deliver exceptional service while fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.
- Oversee scheduling, training, and performance management for all front-of-house food & beverage team members.
- Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless service execution and communication between front and back of house.
- Monitor and maintain inventory, ordering, and cost control for beverage and pool operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including HACCP and resort guidelines.
- Manage guest feedback and resolve service issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings and ensure consistent communication across all shifts and outlets.
- Oversee labor management, and P&L performance; assist with budget planning and financial reporting.
- Support resort-wide events and activations, ensuring successful F&B execution and collaboration with other departments.
- Uphold Sunseeker's service standards and brand presentation across all venues.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, federal / state / local laws, and licensing regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the Food & Beverage division.
What are we looking for?
Education & Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred)Minimum 2 years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or resort environmentStrong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine, beer, cocktails, and service standardsProven track record of leadership, guest satisfaction, and financial performanceKnowledge / Skills / Abilities :
