As Cloud Engineer III , you'll be serving as an escalation point for complex issues, while working closely with onshore and offshore cloud engineers to design, plan and implement cloud solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with an emphasis on project leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as technical expert for various Cloud Engineering projects (AWS)
  • Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to present project updates and work progress
  • Assist with Cloud Architect responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize cost, scalability and performance of cloud infrastructure using industry best practices
  • Design and implement cloud solutions using infrastructure as code
  • Formally and informally mentor junior cloud engineer
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide SRE support.

What you bring :

  • Experience designing, building, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure at scale with Terraform
  • Experience with CI / CD Pipelines (Github Actions, Azure Devops, AWS Code Pipeline, GitLabCI)
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting networking, Windows / Linux OS, and various cloud services
  • Experience with writing and troubleshooting scripts (Python, Powershell, BASH)
  • Demonstrated experience with containers, microservice architectures, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with deploying / configuring management tools (Puppet, Chef, and Ansible)
  • Experience with deploying / configuring relational and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

    • Ways to stand out :

  • Experience with other cloud service providers such as Azure / GCP
  • Understanding of SRE best practices
  • Understanding of Databricks and Data pipelines
  • Experience creating cloud architectural diagrams for complex environments
  • Experience with presenting cloud solutions to technical and non-technical customers and internal audiences
  • Experience in a client-facing role, working directly with clients from multiple levels of the organization; often presenting and documenting client environment suggestions and improvements
  • Experience with cloud security, such as setting security controls (security groups, profiles, permissions, and key management strategy).
