Senior Product Development Engineer / Scientist About actnanoWe are a dynamic materials technology company in Malden, MA. With a strong global technical team, we develop and manufacture coatings that protect printed circuit boards in electronics, allowing them to function in water-laden environments. We work with the biggest brands in the consumer electronics and automotive industries to increase product reliability and improve product performance in wet and humid conditions. About this RoleWe are seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer / Scientist to join our talented and diverse technical team in Malden, MA . This position will focus on developing new platform technologies for environmental protection and implementing at our customers around the world. A master’s or doctorate in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or associated technical field is required. Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or German preferred but not required. Candidate must be legally allowed to work in the US. Key Responsibilities

• Develop functional materials, test methods, and implementation solutions for the environmental protection of automotive and consumer electronics.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables related to product launch strategy.
• Communicate technical advances and project strategy to a global team of technical and sales personnel.
• Work autonomously on open-ended projects, from new coating development to novel application techniques.
• Expand actnano’s IP portfolio by innovating on coatings and application technology.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on coatings and participate in developing customer implementation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables for product launches.
• Mentor technicians and co-ops on conducting experiments for coating development.
• International and domestic travel is required.

This position is based in Malden, MA , accessible via the Orange Line .

The salary range for this position is $115,000 – $125,000 per year, which reflects the base pay the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay at the time of this posting.
