Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do :

• Maintain Patient demographic information and data collection systems
• Work closely with front desk personnel and check in / check out staff to ensure accurate recording of insurance information
• Verify insurance eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and other insurance for upcoming appointments by utilizing online websites or contacting carriers directly.
• Review patient deductibles and / or copays and enter into the ECM (eClinicalWorks)
• Assist front office, enrollment and call center staff in understanding carrier websites and verification of eligibility
• Assist with requesting prior authorization referrals as needed
• Participate in development of procedures / process improvement and updating of applicable forms or manuals
• Answer questions from patients, internal staff and insurance companies
• Work in conjunction with billing team to ensure clean billing
• Provides key feedback and information to providers regarding verifications / corrections needed
• Documents all patient interaction in EMR system
• Other duties as assigned
