Job Title : Senior Tax Associate

Location : Roseville, MN (On-site)

Employment Type : Full-time

About the Role

As a Senior Tax Associate , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax consulting and compliance services. Your work will include tax research, planning, and preparation of supporting workpapers for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profits. You'll collaborate with team members across all levels and gain exposure to multiple industries such as real estate, financial services, healthcare, and consumer products.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals and business entities.

Research, identify, and resolve technical tax issues.

Respond to inquiries from the IRS and state tax authorities.

Review work completed by team members abroad and ensure accuracy.

Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to junior staff.

Collaborate with managers and partners to ensure timely completion of projects.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.

Participate in additional projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.

CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), licensed attorney, or eligibility to obtain CPA licensure.

Minimum of 5 years of tax accounting experience (public accounting preferred).

Strong analytical, technical, and communication (written & verbal) skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work additional hours and travel to client sites as needed.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
