Job Opportunity At Ohio Health Rehabilitation Hospital

Ohio Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical & OhioHealth, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Dublin, OH. This is a full-time position offering a range of benefits including tuition reimbursement, health insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT.
  • Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance patient care services.
  • Communicate with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to ensure assessment and reassessment, modification of treatment plans, and other interventions requiring therapist direction.
  • Participate in the education of patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
  • Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
  • Preferred candidate has one or more years of experience.
