About The Position We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nephrologist for a locum tenens assignment in West Virginia beginning Feb 2, 2026. This 77-day opportunity involves one week of coverage per month, with inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic, and both weekday and 24-hour weekend call. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a children's hospital setting and is board certified in Pediatric Nephrology. Job Details Location : West Virginia Start Date : Feb 2, 2026 LOA : 77 days Provider Type Needed : Pediatric Nephrologist Schedule : One week of coverage every month (not the 3rd week), 7am-5pm shifts; inpatient rounding in the morning until 10am, followed by outpatient clinic until 5pm; weekday call and 24-hour out-of-house weekend call Responsibilities and Duties Provide inpatient rounding each morning until approximately 10am Deliver outpatient clinic services following inpatient rounds until 5pm Participate in weekday call coverage as required Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage on weekends as assigned Manage pediatric nephrology cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings Additional Information Must hold a current West Virginia medical license Board certification in Pediatric Nephrology required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required Minimum two years of experience in a children's hospital setting EMR : Epic Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
