Position : Landscape Technician (Stormwater)

Location : San Marcos, TX

Compensation : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule : Full Time, 40-55 hours per week (Monday - Friday, overtime opportunities) Travel : Required (typically 10 days per month, M-F only) Eligible for our travel bonus! The 5th day of out-of-town travel and beyond per month, $100 per out-of-town travel day bonus!

We're hiring a Landscape Technician (Stormwater) to play a key role in providing landscaping and maintenance expertise to service our clients' stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. This position is a driving force behind our Stormwater team's success. If you have prior experience in Landscaping, as a Lawn Maintenance Technician, Construction Worker, General Laborer, or Groundskeeper, or if you enjoy working outdoors, we want to hear from you!

What you'll do :

  • Routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets)
  • Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties.
  • Operate landscaping and light construction equipment.
  • Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck. 10 days per month is typical (Monday - Friday).

    • What we're looking for :

  • 1-2 years of experience with outdoor labor (landscaping, lawn maintenance, underground utilities, construction, grounds maintenance and repair, or similar work).
  • Due to DOT requirements, employees must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years or older.
  • Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening. We are a drug-free workplace.
  • Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials.
  • Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e. bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
