CGI Federal offers an opportunity for a Data Visualization Developer within its Intel sector, dedicated to advancing the national security mission. The role focuses on creating interactive dashboards, reports, and visual representations of data to support stakeholders in making data-driven decisions. Responsibilities combine technical data manipulation, programming, and visual design to build user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large datasets, extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data (ETL) from various sources using programming languages such as Python or R and database systems like SQL Server or MySQL.
• Design the layout, visual elements, and interactivity of dashboards and reports, selecting appropriate chart types, color palettes, and other design elements to ensure clarity and impact.
• Create user interfaces for interactive visualizations using front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure visualizations load quickly and efficiently, optimizing database queries, choosing efficient chart types, and applying other performance-enhancing techniques.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective visualizations. Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation range : $160,000.00 – $180,000.00.
