Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Manager of Outpatient Surgery to lead Pre-Op, PACU, ENDO, and PAT services. This leadership role provides 24-hour accountability for operations, staff engagement, and patient outcomes across multiple surgical areas. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of outpatient surgical services including Pre-Op, Recovery, PAT, and Endoscopy

Lead a team of 40+ FTEs with accountability for staffing, scheduling, and performance

Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care delivery across perioperative services

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary leaders to drive optimal outcomes

Monitor budgets, resource utilization, and performance improvement initiatives

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Required : BSN degree

Active RN license in Texas or Compact state

2+ years of recent acute care leadership in surgical services

3–5 years of clinical experience in OR, PACU, or other surgical areas

BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)

ACLS and PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)

Preferred :

Prior management experience in surgical services

Cardiovascular surgery experience
