Position Highlights :
- Independent practice with strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospital that provides a full range of OBGYN medicine
- Robust in-house diagnostic testing facility
- Full complement of support teams to assist with patient care
- Excellent access to GYN-Oncology, Perinatology and NICU physicians
Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive care for women in labor, including monitoring labor progress and managing deliveriesPerform and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveriesProvide triage services for obstetric patients presenting with urgent or emergent conditions.Work closely with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient careCommunicate effectively with patients and their families, providing updates and education about their carePatient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of healthProfessionalism, as manifested through a commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to a diverse patient populationSystems-based practice, as manifested by actions that demonstrate an awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care and the ability to effectively call on system resources to provide care that is of optimal valueAttend scheduled departmental and other mandatory meetings and participate on assigned committeesAssist with departmental recruitment effortsDemonstrate community involvement to promote department, CareMount Medical and OptumWhat makes an Optum Career Different :
