Location : Preferably near Cleveland, OH, or Pensacola, FL; remote work considered for highly experienced candidates

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team in the industrial air pollution control sector. This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and optimizing electrostatic precipitators (ESP) and related equipment to ensure optimal performance. The position requires a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, with travel to client sites approximately 40-50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct on-site and remote inspections of ESPs and auxiliary equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ESP systems and microprocessor-based voltage and rapper controls.
Analyze process data to recommend solutions for system efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless system operations.
Document findings and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in all tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or equivalent technical training; college degrees are a plus but not mandatory.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in ESP operation, maintenance, or construction preferred.

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time to various client sites.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with microprocessor-based voltage and rapper controls.

Familiarity with analyzing process data for system optimization.

Proven track record of working collaboratively in customer-focused environments.
