Senior Product Development Engineer

Hologic is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer possessing technical judgment and the value of understanding customer focus to support new product development from concept to production. Candidate must be versatile and flexible to work within an entrepreneurial company. Essential that candidate is extremely action and detailed oriented with an aptitude for technical learning, can project fast accurate information to team members and management, enabling quick decision making.

What We Expect :

• Leads design of a complete project, system, component, or process.
• Prepares complete project documents and reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
• Designs and conducts experiments and analyzes and interprets data.
• Formulates and solves problems that require a depth of technical knowledge and / or skillset
• Leads build and manufacturing transfer activities on behalf of PD group.
• Develops new techniques and / or improved processes, materials, or products.
• May assign tasks to and directs engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Generate plans to solve aspects engineering problems
• Prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
• Attends or leads project meetings, presents specific aspects of engineering assignments and future actions to be taken.
• Represents the organization in communications and conferences pertaining to broad aspects of engineering assignments.

What To Expect :

Required Education and Experience :

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, preferably in the medical device industry.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $87,700 - $137,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
