CONTROLS / ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

SUMMARY

As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control systems to automate various industrial processes and machinery. Your technical expertise will be utilized to ensure these systems operate efficiently and effectively. This involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting issues, and making improvements where necessary. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical engineering, control theory, and experience with various automation software and hardware.

• Design and develop control systems for automated processes and machinery
• Create detailed engineering specifications and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and maintenance
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems (A / B and Siemens)
• Implement and test control algorithms to optimize system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions
• Conduct system analysis and risk assessments
• Provide technical support and training to other engineering staff
• Integrate new technologies and processes into existing systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
• Manage control system projects from conception through completion
