General Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities :
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems (e.g., transmissions, brakes, electrical).
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, operators, and supervisors about repair status.
- Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.
