About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in a supporting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, assisting patients, and maintaining pharmacy operations. You’ll work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
• Receive and verify prescription orders.
• Enter prescription and patient information into pharmacy systems.
• Measure, count, and label medications.
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies; perform stock checks and order replenishments.
• Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding prescriptions, refills, and insurance.
• Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with medication compounding (if applicable).
• Support pharmacists with administrative tasks as needed.
