This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to State Street's Global Technology Services (GTS) as a Security Analyst intern. GTS enables the company to deliver data and insights to clients and drives digital transformation using industry best practices and advanced technologies. Responsibilities
- Learn how to perform due diligence assessments within State Street's Third Party Cybersecurity Risk Management Program in alignment with regulatory requirements and risk-based reviews, including new engagements and ongoing monitoring of existing providers.
- Review and ensure quality and timely responses to support internal business units by providing accurate and in-depth due diligence risk assessments of third parties holding data outside of State Street's controls.
- Understand how third-party services affect State Street security and how their features influence security posture.
- Assist with initial review of third-party Security Schedules; provide guidance and support to legal, business units, and vendors.
- Learn compliance and security assessment methodologies for various network components to identify gaps relative to ISO 27001 / 27002, NIST 800-53, FFIEC, CSA, and other regulatory environments globally.
- Learn methodologies to ensure processes scale with increasing volumes and demand.
- Participate in roundtable reviews for global team members to present due diligence findings, ensuring consistent, high-quality deliverables for third-party information security vendor risk assessments.
