The Role

Plans, coordinates, and directs quality program for manufactured products by implementing and maintaining quality best-practices for structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

What you will be responsible for :

• Manages the Quality Control function in accordance with Quality Assurance system requirements, goals, and objectives.
• Manages certifications and coordinate all internal / external ISO & customer audits.
• Organize and maintain Quality Control activities in a way that optimizes resources while achieving departmental results; set and plan objectives for self and Quality Control personnel in order to achieve common company goals.
• Communicates directly with key customer team members on internal inspection procedures, newly developed processes, and remedial plans for all delivered customer products.
• Manages, plans, coordinates, and heads the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production / service consistent with established standards.
• Identifies problems and resolves issues by rapid implementation of controlled workable solutions; understanding the implications of actions and decisions on the company's goals and strategies.
• Represent the perspective of the customer in order to improve work activities and customer satisfaction.
• Develops and ensure adherence to job specific quality plans.
• Participates in quality management and continuous improvement teams.
• Maintains and provides key quality metrics like supplier OTD, supplier quality, FPY, COPQ, etc
• Participate in Vendor Surveys for qualification, on-going surveillance, and corrective action efforts.
• Maintains the Quality Control Manual in accordance with Quality Assurance requirements.
• Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, and ability to work on-site.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
