Employee Benefits Eligibility Specialist

Classification : Non-Exempt

Reports To : Technology Team Lead

Hours : Full Time

Location : Salt Lake City Office

Compensation : $20 to $22 / hr.

Position Summary

This is an entry-level position working to give support and assistance to the Employee Benefits Department by handling interim eligibility. Interim Eligibility is the process of entering enrollments / changes received from our benefit platforms (Employee Navigator, PlanSource, etc.) into the carrier's systems. This position is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts in a supporting Service Team role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and process changes for benefits that are not on Integration / EDI
• Work with Account Managers when necessary in order to update carrier's enrollment portal / process.
• Maintain email notifications from carriers and ensure correspondence is received by the correct recipient on our end.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
