job_description.job_card.job_descriptionTroubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in machine control systems. Program and modify Siemens PLCs and HMIs (must be able to write from scratch, not just edit). Create / maintain electrical schematics (AutoCAD). Support commissioning of new / updated systems. Collaborate cross-functionally on continuous improvement initiatives. Siemens PLC programming (from scratch) - ladder logic required. Troubleshooting & repair of machine control systems in a manufacturing environment. HMI programming experience. Electrical CAD proficiency (AutoCAD schematic drafting). Knowledge of AC / DC circuitry & field devices (motors, relays, switches, photoeyes, etc.). Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related - Associates not accepted). 3+ years of hands-on experience in relevant manufacturing settings. Manufacturing environments strongly preferred; Rod Mill or Foundry experience is a plus. Siemens PLCs & HMIs AC / DC circuitry & field devices Electrical CAD (AutoCAD) Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
