Summary

Toyoda Gosei North America (headquartered in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Sales Account Manager in the Domestic Sales department. The Sales Account Manager functions with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for managing customer accounts and customer account sales as assigned for Toyoda Gosei (TG) North America Corporation (TGNA), and TGNA Manufacturing Companies (NAMCs).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage account(s) internally and externally to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure profitability
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets and support company vision
- Coordinate commercial activities throughout the organization, such as engineering changes, quality improvements, quoting, negotiations and reporting
- Manage internal / external data, maintain internal sales systems, and track & report changes to leadership
- Develop external customer relationships through effective communication, courtesy, and exceeding expectations
- Drive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts
- Function in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork is critical to success
- Must have the ability to travel, with potential overnight stays, to TG NAMC’s and Customer Sites.
Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is requiredMinimum of three years of experience in engineering or sales is requiredExperience working directly with Domestic OEM’s and is required.Experience with Fuel System commodities preferredProficiency using Microsoft Office Suites 2007 and newer is requiredAbility to consistently meet deadlines is requiredEffective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation and written communication skills are requiredAbility to sustain a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers is requiredEffective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills is required
