Travel Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) jobs in Texas offer you the chance to work with infants, children, and adolescents who have breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. You will assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients, deliver respiratory care in emergency, intensive care, and general patient areas, and operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators and oxygen supply devices. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, educate patients and families about their conditions, and perform regular assessments of both patients and equipment. You may also respond to emergency situations requiring immediate respiratory care and participate in patient care conferences and professional development activities [1].
To qualify, you should have a strong understanding of respiratory care techniques, the ability to work well under pressure, and excellent communication skills for working with young patients and their families. Experience in pediatric respiratory therapy and relevant certifications are recommended [1].
