Overview

Potters Poultry are looking for a motivated, skilled and proficient equipment service engineer for our rapidly growing company. Potters Poultry is a family owned and operated business that has been providing quality equipment and service to the poultry industry for over 60 years.

We will provide : Company truck, Cell phone, Laptop or tablet, Company credit card.

Responsibilities

  • Repairing equipment new and used on laying & pullet rearing farms
  • Helping on installations
  • Problem solving under pressure
  • Testing equipment
  • Provide onsite training and tech support to farm staff
  • Ensure biosecurity and safety standards are met on farms
  • Respond to emergency call outs

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of chain and pan feeders
  • Knowledge of egg and manure belts
  • Some basic electrical knowledge
  • Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs and comfortable with extended standing, climbing, bending, use of power tools and large equipment e.g skid steer
  • Staying away from home as needed
