We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. Starting Oct 6, 2025, this full-time opportunity offers day shifts from 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves daily infirmary rounds, consults, and comprehensive patient care within a corrections environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct daily infirmary rounds in the morning
  • Perform weekly rounds in restricted housing units
  • Complete physicals, consults, emergency consults, and admissions consults
  • Chart patient information and care activities
  • Review EMR queue for patient updates and follow-up
  • Evaluate and interpret lab and x-ray results

    • Additional Information

  • Corrections experience is a plus
  • Must hold an active PA license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
