Guest Support Associate
The Tennessee Aquarium, rated the best Aquarium in America for overall guest satisfaction, attracts over 750,000 visitors each year. We are looking for a positive, energetic individual with excellent customer engagement skills and experience to assist guests with information regarding the Aquarium, IMAX, ticketing, memberships, and any other special events while supporting the Aquarium's mission to connect people with nature and empower them to make informed decisions about water and wildlife.
Key Responsibilities
- Answers guest calls and questions concerning the Aquarium hours, ticket prices, directions, memberships, IMAX movies, parking etc.
- Provides information and assists with new tickets reservations, and / or changing existing reservations.
- Utilizes ticketing programs to research guests' bookings and look up membership details.
- Maintains an ongoing knowledge base of Aquarium offerings, seasonal promotions, IMAX movies, and any other special events.
- Works collaboratively with the Admissions team.
- Performs all Admissions Associate functions during times when back-up is necessary.
- Works independently and provides a high standard of customer engagement while efficiently taking care of guest needs.
- Cross-trains with other departments to stay current on available experiences and opportunities.
- Solves problems, addresses complaints, and provides service recovery when appropriate.
- Develops an extensive knowledge of the Aquarium and the Chattanooga experience to provide a one-stop shopping experience.

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening).Professional and enthusiastic interpersonal skills.Upbeat and outgoing phone personality.Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.Organizational skills with attention to detail.Works well within a team environment.Handles multiple functions simultaneously.High School diploma or some college preferred.2 years of experience providing administrative support.2 years of customer service experience.Excellent telephone skills.Ability to handle several calls at once.Excellent communication skills.Proficient computer skills.Part-time, hourly ($15 / hour); Must be available all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
