Job Overview

Role supports the key fundamentals of manufacturing; Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Reduction initiatives through process development and process improvement projects. Projects are driven by process improvement, operations capital investment plan, overall ROI, product development initiatives and the operations business plan.

Highlights of your role

Support the implementation and management of quality management system processes including, ISO & CE certifications and standard operating procedures.

  • Support Engineering efforts to analyze, identify, and resolve production line problems in order to meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Serve as a resource to internal departments in order to resolve issues related to incoming parts and develop corrective actions.
  • Organize and schedule quality audits, develop and manage supporting documentation and communicate results.
  • Observe continuous improvement testing efforts and coordinate root cause analysis of product failures.
  • Support Research and Development efforts to correct any issues with current products.
  • Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to reduce instances of field service calls.
  • Investigate quality concerns to determine root cause.
  • Prevent quality issues from leaving facility.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • Demonstrated, strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, pin gages, feeler gages, measurement probe, and optical comparator strongly preferred
