• Key Responsibilities :
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts for assigned properties
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and record any reconciling items
• Oversee month-end close, ensuring tenant ledgers align with the general ledger
• Manage property cash balances, submit funding requests, and approve bills
• Collaborate with Property Managers and Supervisors to produce clean, accurate financials for ownership
• Qualifications :
• 3+ years of accounting experience in real estate or property management
• Strong understanding of GL accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Proficiency in property management / accounting systems Resmond (or RealPage, Yardi, MRI, or similar)
